“Who was the first one to say ‘I love you’”, the grinning couple is asked at the reception.
Breaking into an even wider smile, Sean raises his hand.
Not a surprise to anyone who has spent five minutes with Emma and Sean; Sean adores Emma. You could see it in the preparations for the wedding, Sean took on more, much more, than your average groom (and did a smashing job of it too).
And you could see it when they looked at each other. Emma would start laughing at the jokes before they even came, because they always do with Sean. That’s their way together; a lot of funny, even some goofy, a ton of trust, and devotion for miles.
