Kristi and John {St Petersburg Photographer}

I have one girl, and she walks around my house, radiant and curls. It’s like having a little white star walking on tiptoes with cool, laughing light splashing all the walls.
Yeah, she pretty much rules me, in other words.
So I know an only girl when I see one. Resting for a moment before the family photos with her dad, I ask, “she’s your only girl, isn’t she?”
He smiles and nods, “I s’pose you say that because of the big to-do”.
“Well, that is a bit of a give away”, I laugh, “But it’s also the way you look at her, I look at my girl like that too”.
Kristi and John’s wedding was ‘a big to-do’ for sure. Hosted by the Vinoy of St Pete, it was simply stunning. Live music, a six-tiered cake, gleaming candelabras and beaming friends and family.
I had the pleasure of working this wedding with the very creative and indefatigable Lexia Frank. Check out her blog post for the vendor shout outs and more photos.

Savannah

I feel old.

I mean, I don't feel old, not really. But when I look at Savannah, how she's become this gorgeous, radiant young woman, my brain tells me I must be old:

'You must be, old man, because you remember quite vividly how she looked as a baby, crawling around in her parent's tiny tiny first house while you sat and played playstation (the first one)', says my mind to me, rather unkindly, now that I think about it.

When I was a little, I remember thinking that my cousin Kate, Savannah's mom, was the picture of beauty (yes, we are cousins true, but I was like 4, and I hadn't yet got the memo). Savannah got all of that, with a great sense of humor and independence packaged up as a sweet, strawberry locked girl

Published- Style Me Pretty!

It was so awesome to see that Style me Pretty chose a wedding I did recently to publish on their blog.

Of course, if you're planning a wedding, have planned a wedding, or have heard that weddings are planned, you probably know about Style me Pretty.

They are kinda the go-to authority for inspiration and tips, the guru that you climb a mountain to see, only instead of climbing a mountain, you google them
